“I Saw What I Saw”

I’ve been struggling with what to do for the first “post” to this new site. It’s taken me a few weeks, but I finally came to a conclusion.

I am now writing for an amazing, grassroots, missions-focused blog: InspiredtoAction.com. This is going to be amazing! I believe it will not only change many people’s lives; I believe it will revolutionize the world of missions as we know…connecting people around the globe, instantaneously, taking them deep in the heart of the mission-field, from their computer screen. It launches October 24th…take a look @ InspiredToAction.com.

Back to the “post” — we’ve decided (I believe) to use this video as our first “post” for the ITA.com blog, as it encompasses so much of how so many of us are feeling. I know it does for me. I have seen some images, stories, sites, from around the globe, over the last 2mths., that have moved me from a place of complacency, to an “action” of wanting to do what I can, through Christ.

As she says in this song, “your courage asks me, what I am afraid of.” As you watch this video, ask yourself, “what am I afraid of…what is keeping me in a place of complacency, instead of ‘moving’…taking ‘action’ to change your world.”

Please watch this video!!

  5. I have this CD and every time I hear the words “What am I afraid of…” it triggers something in me. Seriously what am I afraid of. What are we as a people of God afraid of.

What would we do if there was no fear?

What will we do in spite of fear?
