Not big on stadium-anthem praise & worship, but recently purchased this and really enjoying it…especially the songs that Brooke Fraser is lead vocal.

what is moving you today?

Since the Christmas season is upon us, as foretold by my last post, I’m already dreaming about crackling fires (funny, since it was a balmy, 83-degrees here yesterday!). XM Radio made the holiday season official, by kicking off all their Holiday stations yesterday (November 1), as well. Last year, it was the week of Thanksgiving….I hear rumours they’re aiming for October 1 next year!!

So back to “crackling fires” —- I was pumped when I saw this in the local HEB yesterday, thinking that it would create a “coffee-like”, wonderland smell all throughout the home. Alas…too good to be true my friends. It’s actually made from recycled coffee-grounds (hence, the “Java”)! It supposedly burns quite a bit cleaner than the traditional starter logs and wood, and puts out more heat. They have a number of great reviews on the website.

 Once we hit the low-70s somewhere around New Year’s Day, we may have to bust one out!! In the meantime…..Merry Christmas to all!!  ; )

Apparently in the eyes of Walmart!!

I walked into our local Super Walmart today (October 30–nearly 2 months before December 25), and what greets me at the door….a horribly decorated, fake 11-foot Christmas tree. WOW!!

And it’s only 80-degrees today in Houston….man, I’m already in the Christmas mood…..cue the Amy Grant (or whatever your favorite is) Christmas album….Christmas time is here!

We have so many friends in the middle of the adoption process right now (including a family who will be naming their daughter, Bella!!), that I thought it was really cool to see a movie premiering this weekend, about adoption.
